OUR TEAM
Patrick qualified as a chartered physiotherapist from Leeds University in 1996 following on from a BSc Sports & Recreation studies degree.
He began his physiotherapy career in the NHS in Leeds and Staffordshire, quickly specialising in the field of musculoskeletal assessment and treatment. In 2003 he became a founding partner of Egremont PhysioFirst Limited and thus embarked on his career in private practice. Since then, Patrick has gained extensive experience and post graduate training in acupuncture and sports medicine. In his spare time Patrick is a keen fell walker/runner, and also enjoys cycling.
George graduated from St. Martin’s College, which is now the University of Cumbria, and joined the Egremont PhysioFirst team in 2007.
I am passionate about occupational health and ergonomics, and I love working with people and organisations to ensure and promote the good health of the working population. I have extensive post graduate training in this field and undertake comprehensive work based assessments and functional capacity evaluations.
In addition, I work with a number of different sporting organisations and athletes. I am an external provider to the English Institute of Sport, working with elite athletes, including members of the England team. I have been a provider to the RFL for pitch side medical management since 2007 and I continue to work with a number of local rugby union teams.

ACPSM is the clinical interest group recognised by the CSP as representing those physiotherapists who have a professional interest in sport and sports physiotherapy.
Acupuncture Association of Chartered Phyisotherapists
AACP is a professional network affiliated with the CSP. The Association represents those physiotherapists who are interested in integrating acupuncture into mainstream physiotherapy for the management of pain and systemic conditions

A government controlled body that consists of elected members and awards health care professionals their licence to practice in the UK
